How to Clean a BBQ Grill,by a High Pressure washer?

Clean a BBQ Grill,by a High Pressure washer
Summer is coming. The warm sun, the cold drinks and the smell of cooking burgers and hotdogs wafting from the grill.

But after a long summer of fun and cookouts, your grill has gone through quite a bit.

All the delicious grease and fat that was cooked off the meat has now made its home inside your grill.

Don't worry though, cleaning your grill is a breeze with a high pressure washer.

There are only two things you really need to know beforehand:

1. Get a Good Degreaser
Unfortunately, most of the delicious meats we gorge on all summer long have some fat. And if you've ever washed dishes you know how impossible it can be to remove with just water.

So get a quality degreaser and make short work of the caked on grease inside your grill. Just apply it to the grill first. Let it work in for a couple minutes and then spray clean with regular water.

2. Disconnect Propane, Gas & Electricity
We all know electricity and water just don't mix. So if your grill has an electric starter, make sure you unplug it before your soak your grill with water.

Similarly, if you have a propane grill, disconnect the tank and move the connection hose out of the way.

If your grill is attached to your home's natural gas line, disconnect this before cleaning.

So,finally soon, your grill will look like new in no time.

How a Pressure Washer Pump Works

How a Pressure Washer Pump Works
Crankcase
A typical High pressure washer pump works by changing the rotating motion of a crankshaft into a back-and-forth motion of a piston or plunger device inside a cylinder. This type of pump is called a reciprocating positive displacement pump. The whole system works much like a car engine. Most DIY pressure washer pumps have either two cylinders (duplex) or three (triplex).

The two main elements of a High pressure cleaner pump are the crankcase and the manifold. The crankcase connects to the power source. The crankshaft's cams rotate and move connecting rods forward and backward, a motion often termed "reciprocal." Attached to the connecting rods are plunger guides that run from the crankcase into the manifold cylinders.

Manifold
Water exiting a High pressure washer runs through the manifold. Plungers or pistons, which rest tightly inside the cylinders, connect to the plunger guides with retaining bolts. The manifold also contains inlet and discharge valves, which enable the pump to maintain a continuous flow of water. The water travels only one way through the valves---in through the inlet valve and out through the discharge valve.

Valves control flow
As the crankcase rotates, the plunger or piston is drawn up in what's called a backward stroke. At this point, an inlet valve opens and allows water to enter the manifold. This happens because, as the plunger or piston is brought up, the volume in the chamber increases, lowering the pressure inside the chamber and triggering the valve to open.
The pump&motor--core part

The inlet valve then closes, and the plunger or piston begins its downward thrust. This forces the discharge valve to open, releasing the water through the hose and nozzle.
