There are several methods in which to clean bamboo floors in order to keep them in top shape.

1) Simple soap and water- By using a combination of mild soap like ivory dish soap and water, it keeps the floor from getting a heavy build up of oils on top of it. Some use this is combination with other cleaning methods.

2) Just wash with water- That's right, if your bamboo floor is in a low traffic area, it is a good idea to do a simple water bath on your bamboo flooring. 3) The tried and true- For many people using the soaps that have been around for years is the best option. Use these products only once in a while for a deep cleaning and to help shine up your flooring.

4) Scrub brush, soap and water- If you want a nice deep clean on your bamboo flooring, but don't feel like using a mop, reach for that bristle scrub brush. It is best to get one that is made of natural bristles. This will prevent scratches from occurring while cleaning the floor. Grab a bucket of mild soap and water and get to work. Use a towel to mop up the extra water or a dry mop will do.
